Park Gilbert Announces Cheer Program and Bint as Head Coach

(Gilbert, AZ)  Park University Gilbert Director of Athletics Angelique Claussen has announced the formation of a new cheerleading program and the hiring of Bree Bint as head coach of the new program. The team will begin competition with the 2024-25 school year.

Since 2022, Bint has been a stunt official at USA Stunt College and was the head varsity cheer coach at Queen Creek High School in Queen Creek, Ariz., from 2019-2024 before taking the reigns here at Park.

 As a stunt official her role is to appropriately score the routines performed, keep track of count sheets, routines, time outs and numerical scores and deductions. At Queen Creek, she handled all duties associated with running the program including organizing practice schedules, games, competitions and community events.

From 2013-2017, the Queen Creek, Ariz., native was the cheer coach and tumbling instructor at Metro All-Stars Cheer and Dance in Livonia, Mich., where her cheer teams competed in national cheerleading competitions.

Bint has also been a cheer coach and tumbling instructor at Arizona Dynamics in Gilbert, Ariz., and Universal Cheerleading Association in Phoenix, Ariz., where she was a staff member.

Bint is a 2013 graduate of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz., where she earned a degree in Criminal Justice. She was also on the cheerleading team all four years at NAU.

She graduated from Queen Creek High School in 2009 where she ran track and also participated in swimming and diving in addition to being a member of the cheer squad.

Bint lives in Queen Creek, Ariz., with her husband Brian and two boys Arlo (4) and Tyson (1).
