The junior wide receiver has emerged as one of the nation’s top offensive weapons.
(Tallahassee, FL) Sun Devil wide receiver Reed Harris was added to the 2026 Biletnikoff Award Watch List, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club announced earlier this week.
The Biletnikoff Award recognizes the college football season’s outstanding FBS receiver, regardless of position. Any player – regardless of position – who catches a pass is eligible for the award. Through four games, Harris has proven to be one of the nation’s top targets.
The eventual award recipient is selected by the highly distinguished Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of prominent college football journalists, commentators, and former receivers. Receivers are periodically added to the watch list as their season performances dictate, as was the case with Harris and 13 others. Actual, not potential, performance is the basis for inclusion on the Biletnikoff Award Watch List. The transparently detailed and explicit criteria for candidate eligibility, watch list inclusion, and voting appear at: BiletnikoffAward.com/criteria

Reed-iculous start
Reed Harris has recorded 499 receiving yards and five touchdown receptions through Arizona State’s first four games. His 26 catches lead the Sun Devils, and he has topped 100 receiving yards against Morgan State, Texas A&M and Baylor.
Harris ranks 11th nationally in total receiving yards (499) and fourth in receiving yards per game (124.8), leading the Big 12 in both categories through games through Oct. 3. The 499 receiving yards are the most through the first four games of the season in ASU program history.
Harris has 11 receptions for over 20 yards through ASU’s first four games – good for third in the FBS and first in the Big 12. His 19.19 yards per reception is second in the country among players with at least 20 catches this season.
He is tied for seventh in the nation with 14 explosive plays (receptions over 15 yards).
Harris’ 87.1 receiving grade is 10th in the nation and leads the Big 12, while he has an 85.5 overall offensive grade that leads the Big 12 wide receivers and is 14th among all FBS receivers.
His 20 receptions for a first down/touchdown are tied for 18th in the country, while his 192 yards after the catch are 22nd in the country. His 104 yards after contact are 14th nationally.
Harris has emphasized Hines Ward’s “no block, no rock” mantra as well as everyone, recording the nation’s best run-blocking score among wide receivers in Week 5 with his 89.5 grade against Baylor (fourth among all players in the country). He ranks ninth in the country with his season-long run-blocking score of 73.6 (min. 90 run-block snaps).
Harris became just the third player in Big 12 history to record at least 325 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns through his team’s first two games of a season. He joined Baylor’s Corey Coleman (2015) and Texas Tech’s Darrin Moore (2011).
