All three Sun Devil Men’s Basketball Associate Head Coaches land on the prestigious list that includes the nation’s top assistant coaches.
(El Segundo, CA) Silver Waves Media released their annual list of 100 Most Impactful/Influential High Major Assistant Coaches and it features three from the Sun Devil Men’s Basketball program.
Associate Head Coaches David Patrick, Rick Croy, and Joe Rahon each landed on the prestigious list from Silver Waves Media, which recognizes the top minds and leaders in the collegiate game. Sun Devil Men’s Basketball Head Coach Randy Bennett has assembled one of the most decorated and well-regarded coaching staffs in the nation and this is yet another accolade for the group.
Arizona State is one of only 11 schools to have three coaches selected to the 100 Most Impactful/Influential High Major Assistant Coaches. They are joined by some of the most illustrious programs in the country on that list. This is David Patrick‘s second consecutive year on the list. Joe Rahon already landed on Silver Waves 2026 100 Most Impactful Men’s Mid Major Assistants/GM’s list back in January. Rick Croy has been recognized by Silver Waves several times previously during his stint as the Head Coach at Cal Baptist, including an invite to their National Future GM/President Power Dinner in Las Vegas two summers ago. The trio of Sun Devil coaches gives the program more representation than powerhouse schools such as Duke, Michigan State, Texas Tech, UCLA, UConn.
