(Glendale, AZ) The Arizona Rattlers have begun the process of building the roster that will defend their 2026 IFL National Championship by signing three players from last year’s team.
The Rattlers have signed defensive back Carl Decius, who was named to the IFL All-Rookie Team and All-IFL First Team. Decius was tied for second in the IFL with six interceptions behind only teammate Yahsyn McKee Sr. who had 12 and was named Defensive Player of the Year. He also finished second on the team with 75 tackles, 53 of those solo, and second in pass breakups with 17.
Also re-signed are wide receivers Keenan Hambrick and Jayden Horace, who were both rookies in 2026.
Hambrick played in nine games last season and caught 13 passes for 147 yards.
Horace had six receptions for 65 yards in seven games, while catching two touchdown passes, both of
those in the playoffs. His acrobatic one-handed catch in the third quarter of the championship game put
the Rattlers into a 32-32 tie on the way to the victory over the Green Bay Blizzard. He also had a touchdown catch in the first-round playoff victory over the Vegas Knight Hawks.
