(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College women’s soccer players Alyssa Allan and Angelina Moraga (Sabino HS) got the Aztecs off to a good start and were rewarded for their efforts during the week of Aug. 24-30.
Allan, a sophomore forward, was selected ACCAC Division II Player of the Week while Moraga, a sophomore goalkeeper, was named ACCAC Division II Goalkeeper of the Week.
Allan scored two goals and totaled four points in Pima’s 4-0 win over Yavapai College last Saturday.
Moraga played 72 minutes and finished the match with three saves.
The Aztecs are playing at Cochise College today in Douglas. Game started at 3:00 p.m. They will be back on the road this Saturday to open ACCAC conference play at Mesa Community College. Game time is set for 8:00 p.m.
