(Guasave, Sinaloa) Tucson shut out Guasave in the first game of the series, defeating them 4-0 in the opening game of the second half of the 2025-2026 ARCO Mexican Pacific League season.
The game quickly tilted in Tucson’s favor, with River Town scoring in the bottom of the first inning on a sacrifice fly by Agustín Ruiz.

The home team extended their lead in the bottom of the third, putting together a three-run rally. Agustín Ruiz drove in Jesús Fabela with a single, Donny Sands drove in Samar Leyva for the second run of the inning, and Gaige Howard followed with another single, bringing Ruiz home for a 4-0 lead.
Zoé Carrillo pitched a great game, going 6 innings with 3 strikeouts and 5 walks, without allowing a run. His ERA dropped to 2.88, earning him the win tonight.
The loss was charged to Miguel Peña, who only lasted 2.1 innings and gave up 4 runs.
