(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (5-1, 3-1 in ACCAC) earned its second straight shutout victory on Tuesday in its game against Glendale Community College at the West Campus Aztec Field.

- The No. 7 ranked Aztecs defeated the Gauchos 2-0, handing Glendale (2-1-1, 2-1-1) their first loss of the season.
- Sophomore Alejandro Mina put the Aztecs on the scoreboard in the 31st minute with an assist from fellow sophomore Aldhair Valenzuela Rodriguez (Willow Canyon HS).
- The Aztecs struggled to score again until sophomore Nathan Flores (Alhambra HS) helped secure the win with his goal in the 89th minute. Sophomore Joost Hermeling had the assist.
- The Aztecs finished with 11 shots on goal and held the Gauchos to one shot on goal for the game. Freshman Tommaso Leonardi finished with one save.
The Aztecs continue their busy week as they host a non-conference game on Thursday against Community Christian College at Aztec Field. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
