(San Francisco, CA)  For the second time this season, a pair from Sun Devil Beach Volleyball is the Pac-12 Pair of the Week, with the No. 2 pair of sophomore Arden Beseckerand freshman Ava Williamson winning this week.

This is the third pair of the week nod in program history, second this season after Daniella Kensinger and Anya Pemberton won earlier this year. The two awards are the most in a single season in Arizona State history.

Besecker and Williamson were unstoppable on court two this past weekend for the Sand Devils, clinching two duals and getting a win over their opponents from No. 4 TCU. With their four wins in Fort Worth, Besecker and Williamson extended their winning streak to nine-straight matches. This ties the record that duo Oluoma Okaro and Ashley Wenz set in 2019. They lead the team with a 15-3 record, which is already ninth in the ASU record book for wins in a single season for a pair. This season, the pair has eight wins over duos from ranked teams.

With the help from Besecker and Williamson, Arizona State went 3-1 over the weekend, picking up two more ranked wins (No. 14 Washington and No. 13 FIU). The team now has seven ranked wins on the year, extending the program record for wins over ranked opponents in a single season.
