(Mesa, AZ)  The Park University Gilbert men’s volleyball team lost for the second consecutive match to No. 6 OUAZ 3-0 (7-25, 12-25, 20-25) at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Ariz. The Bucs fall to 0-3 on the season, while OUAZ moves to 6-1.

The third set saw Park start to find its form against the OUAZ second team as they held the lead for a good portion of the set before the Spirit overcame the deficit to win by five in the final frame. The Bucs posted 10 kills in the set with only three errors to hit .333.

The Bucs had 13 kills for the match, led by David Shafer with four kills. Tyler Yu had seven digs, and Jake Burdick had 12 assists.

The Bucs now prepare for conference play as they will open up on the road in northern California against Pacific Union, Simpson and UC Merced next week on February 22-24.
