Rattlers add two Coaches to 2023 Coaching Staff

(Phoenix, AZ)  The six-time World Champion Arizona Rattlers have announced the additions of two coaches to their coaching staff for the 2023 season.

Siaha Burley joins the Arizona Rattlers coaching staff as an Assistant Head Coach for the 2023 season. Burley is a former Rattler, arena football wide receiver, and former head coach of the Jacksonville Sharks of the NAL.

Burley became the wide receivers coach for the Arizona Rattlers in 2011 under Head Coach Kevin Guy. In 2014, Burley was the offensive coordinator for the Orlando Predators.

After spending two seasons with the Predators, Burley was named the offensive coordinator for the Rattlers in December 2015. After the Rattlers, he joined the Cleveland Gladiators in the same position for the 2017 season.

Burley left the Gladiators early in the 2017 season to become the head coach of the Jacksonville Sharks, where he won two championships.

The Arizona native played college football at the University of Central Florida. He was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, and attended Westwood High School.

Kevin Ashak joins the Arizona Rattlers coaching staff as the Offensive Line Coach for the 2023 season.

Ashak has been coaching at Desert Ridge High School (Mesa, AZ) as the Offensive Line Coach and Co-Offensive Coordinator since 2017. He is also responsible for the strength and conditioning of the Jaguars during his tenure.

He was part of the Arizona Rattlers 2017 Championship Team and played for two years as both a Fullback and Offensive Line for the New Orleans Voodoo (2014-2015).

Before his Indoor Football career, Ashak played collegiately at Adams State University (2009-2013) where he was an All-RMAC selection on the offensive line.

The Arizona native was raised in Mesa, Arizona, and attended Desert Ridge High School. Ashak received a BS in Kinesiology with a minor in Coaching from Adams State University. He is also a registered nurse receiving his BSN from Arizona College School of Nursing.
