(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College women’s soccer team (4-1) had its four-game winning streak snapped on Saturday at Scottsdale Community College (4-0).
The No. 7 ranked Aztecs were shutout 2-0 against the Artichokes. Scottsdale’s Marissa Guevara scored in the 8th minute and assisted in Natalie Steinman’s goal in the 63rd.
The Aztecs had more chances at the goal as they finished with eight shots on goal while Scottsdale had five for the game.
Sophomore Angelina Amparano (Salpointe Catholic HS) finished the game with three saves.
The Aztecs look to get back on track as they return to the West Campus Aztec Field part of the Chapman Automotive Sports Complex on Tuesday against Yavapai College. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
