LATV designated as Rattlers’ 2021 television home in Partnership with Lotus Communications

(PHOENIX, AZ)  The six-time World Champion Arizona Rattlers and Lotus Communications have announced a one-year partnership agreement that officially designates LATV as the television home for the Arizona Rattlers during the 2021 Indoor Football League season.

As the Rattlers’ official television partner, LATV will provide the Phoenix market with exclusive english-language telecasts of all Arizona Rattlers home games throughout the 2021 Indoor Football League season.

The games will be televised live locally on KPHE-LD, Channel 44, in addition to Cox Channel 116. All games will also be simulcasted live on the IFL’s Youtube channel for fans outside of the Phoenix market.

“We’re excited to welcome Lotus Communications and LATV to the team as we get ready to kick off the 2021 IFL season,” Rattlers President Kevin Guy said. “It’s an honor to be associated with a partner that has a proven track record of bringing professional sports to homes within our community. We look forward to introducing Indoor Football and the Rattlers to a more broad and diverse demographic.”

Founded in 1962, Lotus Communications owns and operates 44 radio stations in the Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Fresno, Las Vegas, Reno, Sacramento, Tucson and Boise markets, in addition to television stations in the Phoenix and Houston markets.

Over the past two decades, the privately-owned Lotus Communications has partnered with a variety of professional sports organizations to provide radio coverage in the California and Nevada markets. This has included coverage of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Fresno State Athletics and Oakland Raiders, in addition to several other organizations.

“We’re looking forward to a productive partnership and we’re excited to bring the community back together,” said Lotus TV of Phoenix General Manager Jorge Esquilin. “I’ve always seen Indoor Football as fun entertainment at an affordable rate, and the same excitement as the NFL.”

The Rattlers’ 2021 regular season will include multiple rivalry matchups against the Tucson Sugar Skulls, as well as a rematch of the 2017 and 2019 United Bowls with the Sioux Falls Storm. The 2021 season will be the Rattlers 28th season of operation, as they compete for their seventh championship in franchise history.
