(Federal Way, WA) The Pac-12 Women’s Swimming and Men’s and Women’s Diving Championships wrapped up on Saturday in Federal Way, Wash.
Arizona finished the Pac-12 Championships in sixth place with a score of 725 total points.

Top Performances of the Day
Kirsten Jacobsen set a PR best in the 1650 free with a time of 15:59.31 which was good enough for fourth overall and marked the sixth-fastest time in program history. Ayumi Macias finished sixth overall in the 1650 free, earning an NCAA B cut in the process. Axana Merckx finished top 8 in the 200 back while setting a PR best of 1:54.86.
Jax Purwins set a PR best, a zone qualifying score, and placed in the top eight of the platform dive with a score of 229.90.

Men’s Swimming Pac-12 Championships will begin on Wednesday, March 4 in Federal Way, Washington and continue through Saturday March 7.
The women’s next meet will be NCAA Championships in Athens, Georgia from March 18-21.
