Kiley Sours-Miller averages 21.5 points to earn ACCAC Division II Player of the Week

(Tucson, AZ)  Pima Community College women’s basketball player Kiley Sours-Miller (Dream City Christian) earned her first nod from the ACCAC conference.

Sours-Miller, a sophomore post player, was named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week after she helped the Aztecs go 2-0 during the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 6. This is her first selection this season and eighth in her career.

Sours-Miller averaged 21.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 blocks as the Aztecs beat Phoenix College 69-49 to open ACCAC conference play and downed Park University JV 114-52 last Saturday. She shot 69 percent from the field (20 for 29).

Sours-Miller has played and started in all nine games to start the season averaging 16.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game.

The Aztecs will play two ACCAC conference games this week. They head to South Mountain Community College on Wednesday for a 5:30 p.m. contest. Then they return to the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Saturday for a matchup with Glendale Community College. Tipoff is set for 2:00 p.m.
