(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (1-0) opened the 2025-26 regular season on Tuesday as it hosted Community Christian College at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium.
The No. 3 ranked Aztecs outscored the Saints by double digits in each half on their way to a 141-67 win.

The Aztecs led 81-27 at halftime and outscored Community Christian 60-40 in the second half.
Sophomores Brock Mendoza, Ky Green and freshman Isaiah Hill (Premier Prep) all finished with double-doubles in the game. Mendoza had a team-high 22 points to go with 11 rebounds and three blocks. Green finished with 21 points on 8 for 9 shooting and 10 rebounds. Hill added 15 points and 11 assists to go with six rebounds and five steals.
Freshman Will Feagles (Notre Dame Prep) and sophomore Isaac Johnson showed off their shooting range as they were flawless from the floor. Feagles scored 21 points after going 3 for 3 from the field, 4 for 4 from beyond the arc and 3 for 3 from the free throw line. Johnson went 7 for 7 from the field with 15 points.
Sophomores Taevean Famutimi-Brown and Grant Woods (Valley Christian HS) each scored 10 points.
The Aztecs will be back at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Friday when they host Benedictine Mesa University JV. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
