Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College women’s golfers Araceli Esquivel (Salpointe Catholic HS) and Elizabeth Satterfield (Ironwood Ridge HS) closed out the third round of play at the NJCAA National Championship on Wednesday at the Longbow Golf Club in Mesa.
Esquivel, a sophomore, moved up in the field as she shot a 4-over par 76 for the second straight day. She is tied for 17th place with a three-day total of 238 (86-76-76). She is six strokes behind the top 10. The top 18 golfers earn NJCAA All-American status.
Satterfield, a freshman, has a three-day total of 310 (102-103-105).
They will finish play on Thursday at the Longbow Golf Course.
