(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College women’s soccer (12-1, 9-1 in ACCAC) continued its stellar play on Saturday as it picked up another quality win at Cochise College (10-5, 7-3).
The No. 3 ranked Aztecs defeated the Apaches (Division I) 4-0 earning their 11th shutout victory of the season.
Sophomore Caitlyn Maher (Catalina Foothills HS) scored two goals in the 43rdand 77thminutes. After going the first 11 games with no goals, Maher has scored four this week.
Freshman Kyleigh Oliver (Salpointe Catholic HS) put Pima up 2-0 with her goal in the 58th minute.
Sophomore Delaney Buntin (Cienega HS) had a hand in all four goals as she provided three assists and made it 3-0 with her goal in the 69th minute that was assisted by Oliver.
Sophomore goalkeeper Angelina Amparano (Salpointe Catholic HS) finished with seven saves.
The Aztecs will close out the regular season on Tuesday when they play at Arizona Western College in Yuma. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
