Brown and Tarwater represent Aztecs women’s cross country at Vaquero “CAMPY” Invitational

(Tucson, AZ)  The Pima Community College women’s cross country team competed at the Vaquero “CAMPY” Invitational on Saturday in Coolidge.

Freshman Emalyn Brown (Canyon del Oro HS) finished 29^th in the 5K (3.1 miles) race with a time of 23 minutes, 14.3 seconds. She shaved 40 seconds off of her time from last week’s race at the ACCAC Championships.

Freshman Mykayla Tarwater (Tucson Magnet HS) placed 35^th with a time of 24:25.9.

The Aztecs will compete in the ACU Invitational on Friday, Oct. 22 in Glendale. The women’s race will be at 8:00 a.m.
