If you didn’t know Emilio Ysaguirre’s name before Sunday, you probably know it by now. The true freshman had his redshirt pulled just weeks before the regular season came to a close after Jesse Vasquez suffered a season-ending injury. Ysaguirre upset No. 4 Brock Hardy (Nebraska) in the final dual of the season, then came into the Pac-12 Tournament where he finished as a runner-up at 141. His two wins came via a major decision and sudden victory.

174 Cael Valencia finished as a bronze medalist in his first Pac-12 Championship. His NCAA qualification came via a true-second allocation match where he defeated Cal Poly’s Brawley Lamer  6-4 in sudden victory.
