Tucson, AZ –The Pima Community College women’s cross country team closed out the 2025 season on Saturday at the NJCAA Division I National Championships in Fort Dodge, IA.
The Aztecs finished in 22nd place in the final team standings with a score of 579 points. Odessa College took first place with 54 points. Central Arizona College was 11th with 290.
Sophomore Sofia Cambridge (Page HS) was the top finisher for the Aztecs as she took 99th place out of 178 competitors in the 5K (3.1-mile) race with a time of 21 minutes, 34.2 seconds.
Freshman Cassidy Davidson (Cienega HS) crossed the finish line in 108th place at 21:56.7 while sophomore Elizabeth Coppola (Pusch Ridge Christian HS) was 113th with a time of 21:59.5.
Freshman Madeline Mitchell (Tucson Magnet HS) placed 134th and was clocked at 22:45.3 and sophomore Elexia Aragon (Flowing Wells HS) finished 159th at 24:16.1.
The Aztecs will compete in the Indoor and Outdoor Women’s Track & Field season starting in January.
