I chose ASU because I have a lot of respect for the coaching staff. They are winners with great values. I wanted to be part of the culture that they are building and I like the family environment. I also choose to come here because the Big 12 is a really challenging conference and I think it is fun to compete against a lot of good teams. Tempe is a really nice city with a lot of interesting activities to do and the weather is really nice.

I can tell you personally what a challenge it is to play against a team with Emmanuel on it. He is an extremely tenacious and physical defender who changes the game on that end of the floor. His versatility and ability to defend multiple positions will allow us to be flexible with our rotations. He has improved his shot and there is no questioning how hard he works in the gym.
