(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College men’s track & field team captured the ACCAC Conference Team Championship on Friday at Mesa Community College.
The Aztecs also took home four individual championships.
Sophomore Jake Applegate claimed the championship in the 400-meter hurdles as he finished with a time of 52.91 seconds. He also placed second in the 110-meter hurdles at 14.77.
Sophomore Taylor Brown matched his Pima Outdoor school record in the 400-meters for the second straight week as he claimed the conference title with a time of 46.47.
Sophomore Brent Clark won the 3,000-meter steeplechase race with a time of 10:14.60.
Sophomore Mason Hessier took home the ACCAC conference title in the Triple Jump with a mark of 14.49 meters (47-feet, 6.50-inches).

The Aztecs will compete at the GCC Outdoor Invitational at Glendale Community College next Saturday, April 11.
