Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams selected No. 4 seeds for the NJCAA National Tournament

(Tucson, AZ). The Pima Community College men’s and women’s basketball teams found out their seedings as the NJCAA released its Selection Shows on Tuesday for the Division II National Tournaments.

The Aztecs men’s basketball team (32-0) will be the No. 4 seed for their tournament in Danville, IL. They receive a bye to the second round where they will play the winner of No. 13 Davidson-Davie Community College (NC) and No. 20 Fort Scott Community College (KS) on Tuesday, Mar. 17 at 9:00 a.m. (CDT); 7:00 a.m. (Tucson time).

The Aztecs women’s basketball team (26-4) will also be the No. 4 seed for their tournament in Hickory, NC. The Aztecs receive a bye to the second round and will play the winner of the first-round match between No. 13 Des Moines Area Community College (IA) and No. 20 Monroe Community College (NY) on Tuesday, Mar. 17 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT); 7:00 a.m. (Tucson time).

All the games of the Men’s and Women’s NJCAA Division II National Tournaments will be broadcasted on the NJCAA Network.
