In a Back and Forth Series, Los Mochis Sweeps Tucson

(Los Mochis, Sinaloa)  December 7, 2025 (TBT Press) – For the third consecutive night, the Cañeros de Los Mochis defeated Tucson 4-3, sweeping the series at home.

The Cañeros were the first to get on the board, scoring a run in the bottom of the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly by Alejandro Urías.

The lead was extended to 2-0 in the sixth inning thanks to a solo home run by Rodolfo Amador to left field.

Tucson didn’t give up and rallied, scoring three runs in the top of the seventh inning, making the game tense for both teams.

River Town drove in three runs with a triple that brought in Missael Rivera, Alejandro Quezada, and Ramón Mendoza, turning the game around and giving them a 3-2 lead.

In the eighth inning, the game shifted again when Aguilas, with Aaron Lugo at the plate, singled, driving in Diego Soto and Alejandro Urías for the final score of 4-5.

Edwin Valle lost the game pitching 1 complete inning. Irvin Machuca got the win Daniel Duarte scored his fourth save of the season.
