(Zapopan, Jalisco) Jalisco decisively defeated Tucson 11-3, securing the series at Estadio Panamericano in Jalisco.
The Arizona team scored two runs in the top of the second inning. Aldo Nuñez drove in the first, and Marcos Valenzuela followed with a single, bringing Francisco Pérez home for a 2-0 lead. Jalisco got on the board in the bottom of the same inning with an RBI single by Reynaldo Rodríguez, making the score 2-1.

The game remained close until the sixth inning, with great pitching duels and threats from both teams. But in the bottom of the sixth, the Charros rallied, scoring 7 runs against Tucson and extending their lead to 8-2. Julián Ornelas drove in one run with a double, and Francisco Córdova added two more with a double. Billy Hamilton singled to drive in Jalisco’s fifth run, and Bligh Madris hit his fifth home run of the season, bringing home Billy Hamilton and Jared Serna.
Aldo Nuñez narrowed the gap to 8-3 with an RBI single that sent Agustín Ruiz home. In the bottom of the eighth, Mateo Gil found a good pitching opportunity and hit his first home run of the season, driving in teammates Christopher Gastélum and Jared Serna to extend Jalisco’s lead and make the final score 11-3 over Tucson.
Isaac Jiménez earned the win in relief, pitching two-thirds of an inning with two strikeouts and no runs allowed. Daniel Zazueta took the loss in relief.
