The Aztecs got on the board in the 8th minute when freshman Ava Dagnino (Salpointe Catholic HS) scored with an assist from fellow freshman Yajaira Cervantes (Tucson Magnet HS).

The Apaches tied the game at 1-1 after Ana Velazquez scored in the 11th minute. Cochise took a 2-1 advantage seven minutes later when Diana Taddei scored a goal in the 18th minute.
