(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College women’s soccer players Anjeli DesRosier (Salpointe Catholic HS) and Phoebe Knisley (Canyon del Oro HS) swept the ACCAC conference weekly awards for the week of Sept. 21-27.

DesRosier, a sophomore midfielder, was selected ACCAC Division II Player of the Week while Knisley, a sophomore goalie, earned her second nod as ACCAC Division II Goalkeeper of the Week. She earned her first award for the week of Aug. 31-Sept. 6.
DesRosier played 180 minutes in the midfield as Pima went 1-0-1 after tying with Scottsdale

Community College and beating Mesa Community College. The Aztecs outscored their opponents 10-3. She finished the week with three shots and had one assist.
DesRosier has played and started in all nine games with one goal and two assists on the season.
Knisley was crucial in Pima’s 2-2 tie with the Artichokes as she finished with 10 saves and played all 90 minutes.
She has appeared in five games; making four starts. Knisley has logged 360 minutes with 19 saves.
The No. 8 ranked Aztecs will return to the West Campus Aztec Field on Saturday when they host No. 6 ranked Phoenix College. Game time is set for 5:45 p.m.
