(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College women’s soccer player Phoebe Knisley (Canyon del Oro HS) earned Pima’s first weekly award of the season.
Knisley, a sophomore goalie, was named ACCAC Division II Goalkeeper of the Week.
Knisley played 180 minutes during the week of Aug. 31-Sept. 6. The Aztecs earned 1-1 ties in each of their games against Yavapai College and Phoenix College. Knisley had seven saves for the week.
She has played in three games this season and has eight saves.
The Aztecs earned a 3-0 win at Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Tuesday. They will return to the West Campus Aztec Field on Saturday when they host GateWay Community College. Game time is at 5:45 p.m.
