Sun Devil Eric Allen Entering Pro Football Hall of Fame

(Canton, OH)  2025 inductee, Eric Allen contributed to three bowl teams during his time at ASU, highlighted by the 1986 squad that defeated Michigan 22-15 in the Rose Bowl on January 1, 1987. He finished his college career with 15 interceptions, including eight in his senior season in 1987. That year, he earned All-Pac-10 honors and was named an AP Honorable Mention All-American. Allen went on to enjoy a 14-year NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, and Oakland Raiders, earning six Pro Bowl selections along the way.  Sun Devil cornerback Eric Allen is the sixth Sun Devil to don the gold jacket and enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend.

 Allen played four years at ASU, finishing his college career with a 30-15-2 record, the 1996 Pac-10 title and a victory in the 1987 Rose Bowl. Taken with the 30th pick in the 1993 NFL Draft, he played 14 seasons in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles (seven), New Orleans Saints (three) and Oakland Raiders (four) before retiring in 2002.
