(Tucson, AZ) The Tucson Sugar Skulls have traded for WR Mike Carrigan from the Quad City Steamwheelers in exchange for DB Rashie Hodge and DL Melik Owens.
In 2023, Carrigan played in 12 games for Quad City, hauling in 24 receptions for 369 receiving yards and 11 receiving touchdowns. On the ground, he rushed for 130 yards on 18 attempts with 2 rushing touchdowns. The dynamic scoring threat totaled 13 touchdowns in his 12 games played.In 2022, Carrigan finished the season ranked 6th in the IFL in touchdown receptions (17), 7th in receiving yards (739), and 9th in receptions (54). The shifty wideout was in the top 10 in all major receiving categories.
In the 2022 IFL National Championship game, Carrigan hauled in 2 touchdown receptions. He tallied 1,426 all-purpose yards and 20 total touchdowns on the season.
