Men’s Basketball center Gabe Oldham named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week

(Tucson, AZ)  Pima Community College men’s basketball player Gabe Oldham (Spanish Fork HS, UT) has helped the Aztecs to a 4-0 start to the regular season as he received individual recognition from the ACCAC conference for his play.

Oldham, a 6-8 freshman center, was named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 5-11.

He finished with two double-doubles in points and rebounds as the Aztecs went 3-0 at their hosted Pima Fall Invitational at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. He posted 27 points and 12 rebounds in their win over No. 13 ranked Dallas College Eastfield (Division III) and produced a 21-point, 12-rebound performance in their win over PHH Prep.

Oldham went 24 for 29 from the field (.827) and averaged 21.3 points and 9.0 rebounds.

The Aztecs will begin ACCAC Conference play on Tuesday, Nov. 21 when they host Phoenix College. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. at the West Campus Aztec Gym.
