Oliver and Michel earn All-ACCAC and All-Region honors, Graves receives All-Region praise

(Tucson, AZ)  Three individuals from the Pima Community College women’s soccer team earned recognition for their play during the 2023 regular season.

Sophomore midfielder/forward Kyleigh Oliver (Salpointe Catholic HS) was selected second team All-ACCAC and first team All-Region I, Division II. She has played in 15 games; making 14 starts. Oliver has seven goals and leads the team with eight assists. She is second on the team with 22 points.

Sophomore defender Samantha Michel (Walden Grove HS) earned All-ACCAC Honorable Mention and was named second team All-Region I, Division II. She has played in all 16 games; making 15 starts in the backfield. Michel has three assists on the season and help anchor a defense that gave up two goals or less in 14 of the 16 games.

Freshman midfielder Solaris Graves (Ironwood Ridge HS) was named second team All-Region I, Division II. She has played and started in all 16 games this season. She leads the team with nine goals and 23 points. Graves also has five assists.

The No. 3 seeded Aztecs defeated No. 2 Scottsdale Community College 3-2 in the NJCAA Region I, Division II Semifinals and will play in their fourth straight Region I, Division II Finals match on Saturday at No. 1 Phoenix College. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
