(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College volleyball player Sasha Ross (Canyon del Oro HS) earned recognition for her play over the weekend at the New Mexico Military Classic.
Ross, a sophomore outside hitter, was named to the NMMI Classic All-Tournament team.
She finished with a total of 28 kills, 25 digs, six aces, one block and 37 points in the three matches she played in. It included a double-double of 10 kills and 12 digs in Pima’s win over Vernon College. The Aztecs went 1-3 in the invitational against NJCAA Division I teams.
The Aztecs will host the inaugural Aztec Classic from Thursday to Saturday at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. The Aztecs will play No. 6 ranked Grand Rapids Community College on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
