COACH’S CORNER
“We are thrilled with Ashley receiving All-American honors for the third year in a row,” Head Coach Missy Farr-Kaye remarked. “It really is an amazing accomplishment. Ashley is an integral part of our team and has stepped up as a leader. Becoming a three-time All-American as a junior isn’t easy and this is really well-deserved. I’m excited to see what Ashley has in store for her senior year.”

THREE-TIME ALL-AMERICAN
By virtue of her selection to the WGCA All-American Second Team, Ashley Menne has now been named an All-American in each of her first three seasons in Tempe. She becomes the first Sun Devil since Olivia Mehaffey (2017-21) to earn All-American honors in each of her first three years. Next year, Menne could join some exclusive company. Should she earn a fourth All-American distinction, she would become only the fourth four-time All-American in program history. Only legendary figures Olivia Mehaffey, Azahara Munoz (2006-09) and Kellee Booth (1995-98) have accomplished this impressive feat.

STRAIGHT FROM THE SOURCE
“This season has been a great experience overall,” Ashley Menne reflected. “I couldn’t have asked for a better team to do this year with. Being a three-time All-American is such an honor. The goal is to keep playing some consistent golf in this upcoming season with the Sun Devils!”

2023 SEASON
The Surprise, Arizona native continued her steady development since arriving at ASU, as she becomes one of the most decorated golfers at the collegiate level. Menne earned WGCA Second Team All-American honors thanks to an outstanding junior season in which she competed against and beat some of the top golfers in the nation. In leading Arizona State to a No. 2 seed at the Raleigh Regional and a final ranking of No. 14 nationallly, Menne was extremely consisent throughout the campaign. She shot 14 rounds of par or better, including four rounds in the 60s. This resulted in three Top-10 and eight Top-20 finishes. Menne received Pac-12 Golfer of the Week honors on March 28 after finishing tied for fourth at PING/ASU Invitaitonal. For her efforts, she was awarded a spot on the Pac-12 All-Conference Team.

PAC-12 ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM
Arizona State landed four individuals on the Pac-12 All-Conference teams, tied with Oregon and USC for the most selections of any school. Ashley Menne was one of only 12 golfers named to the First Team in arguably the deepest conference in the country. It was her third-consecutive year earning All-Conference distinction.

PALMER CUP SELECTION
Ashley Menne was one of six United States female committee selections for the annual Arnold Palmer Cup, after finishing just outside the automatic qualifying threshold. After not even being included in the initial rankings released in the Fall, Menne came in at No. 8 in the final United States female Palmer Cup rankings, making a dramatic climb throughout the Spring. She will represent USA and Sun Devil Women’s Golf in Ligonier, Pennsylvania from June 8-10.
