QUOTABLES
Arizona State Head Women’s Golf Coach Farr-Kaye
On today’s round:
“We started off slow, but we hung in there with a couple birdies down the stretch. I really liked how we finished since we’re trying to find our groove at home right now. Today was a much better day I feel like. We didn’t score yesterday as well as we played. Just trying to get everyone patient with themselves, grinding and hanging in there. It’s an packed championship with some great teams. We’re trying to be patient, stay in the process and we’ll get where we want to go.”
On keeping the team in control of their game:
“We focus on staying in the process, it’s important that we have our processes, we have things we want to do, work to control. There’s a lot of things you have to let go of when you’re here. Because you can’t control everything. We try to get back to our basics and what we talk about and how we compete day-to-day. This is the Pac-12 Championship but it’s still a tournament and the same golf course and all those things. It has more meaning and this is a terrific conference.”
Beth Coulter
On today’s round:
“Yesterday I played really well. So I knew could make a few putts, and thankfully a few dropped. So it was really nice to get that momentum from yesterday and see them dropping today. I hit the ball really well and I was rolling my putter.”
