Acosta finished with 10 points off the bench as she went 3 for 5 from the field.

“Something I really like about this team is there are a lot of us that score in double figures in most of our games and the reason why is because we share around the ball so much and we have trust in each other; and my teammates have trust in me and I don’t want to let them down,” Acosta said.

The Aztecs out-rebounded the Coyotes 38-27 and finished 21 for 25 from the free throw line.

The No. 1 seeded Aztecs will host No. 3 Scottsdale Community College in the NJCAA Region I, Division II Finals on Saturday at the West Campus Aztec Gym. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
