Well-Balanced Performance Leads To Program-Record Road Score

(Seattle, WA)   Behind the best true road score in program history and four event titles, No. 22 Sun Devil Gymnastics beat Washington on Sunday afternoon in Alaska Airlines Arena, 197.475 to 197.250.

Rotation One: Bars, 49.350

The Gym Devils got started strong with the third-highest bars total of the season. 
Theodorou and Reeves kicked things off with a 9.800 and 9.875, respectively. After a career high 9.925 from Samiley, Scharf recorded a 9.900. White posted a 9.800. Clark anchored, posting a 9.850.

Rotation Two: Vault, 49.325

In the second rotation Arizona State stayed strong, posting their best vault total of the 2022-2023 season. Jaslow kicked things off with a 9.850.  White recorded a 9.825 followed by a 9.900 from Smith. Theodorou and Scharf anchored with 9.875s.

Rotation Three: Floor. 49.500

The Gym Devils posted another season high event total in the meet today, this time on floor. Kayla Lee started the floor routines off with a career high 9.875. Right behind her, Clark and Theodorou posted a 9.875 as well. Jaslow posted a 9.900 to tie her career and season high. Emily White posted a 9.900 as well to tie those same marks. Scharf posted 9.950 to tie her season and career high.

Rotation Four: Beam, 49.300

ASU finished strong on beam, posting their second-highest mark of the season. Lee tied season and career high to start off with a 9.800. White tied her career high with a 9.925. Smith set her career high with a 9.850. Clark posted a 9.825 before White notched a 9.925. Scharf finished with a 9.900.

Arizona State will return home on Saturday for the Senior Day meet against No. 12 Oregon State. It will be at 3 p.m. MST on the Pac-12 Network.
