Ernesto Osornio and Nicholas Bianchi selected United Soccer Coaches All-Americans

(Tucson, AZ)  Pima Community College men’s soccer players Ernesto Osornio (Ironwood HS) and Nicholas Bianchi (Pinnacle HS) earned another national award for their play in the 2022 season.

Sophomores Osornio, a midfielder/forward and Bianchi, a forward, received recognition from the United Soccer Coaches after being named to the 2022 Junior College Division II Men’s All-American Team.

Osornio played in 16 games; making 14 starts and was second on the team with nine goals, eight assists and 27 points.
Osornio is a two-time NJCAA Division II second team All-American. He earned his second straight honor last week after the NJCAA released its teams. He earned his first honor as a freshman with Phoenix College. He is also a two-time first team All-ACCAC and first team All-Region I, Division II player.

Bianchi was selected second team NJCAA Division II All-American last week. He played and started in all 17 games with a team-high 16 goals and nine assists. He also earned first team All-ACCAC and first team All-Region I, Division II honors.
Bianchi played the previous two seasons at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) where he appeared in 15 games in his career.

They will be recognized at the All-American Ceremony & Reception; which is part of the United Soccer Coaches Convention, on January 14, 2023 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
