“On the women’s side it was a great day.” cross country and distance coach Ryan Ray said. “Four out of the eight had big PRs, they executed the race plan, they believed in themselves, and they went out and ran well so I’m super proud. From the men, Vinny ran outstanding today to get on the podium and get All-Conference honors so I’m really excited for him. There’s more there for him at regionals and if he keeps it up he should make the national meet. The guys went out a little hot but when you’re racing you have to go out there and race. It wasn’t there today but we’re going to come back together and get back to work.”

Mauri will feature at NCAA Regionals November 11 in Tacoma, Washington. NCAA Championships then follow on November 19 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
