(Phoenix, AZ) The Pima Community College volleyball team (7-16, 4-9 in ACCAC) earned an ACCAC conference road win on Friday at Phoenix College (2-15, 0-13).
The Aztecs defeated the Bears 3-0 (25-23, 27-25, 25-14).
Sophomore Haley Duncan (Walden Grove HS) finished the match with a team-high 10 kills to go along with two blocks. Fellow sophomore Jessica Bright-Schade (Safford HS) closed it out with eight kills and nine digs.
Sophomore Isabella Jacome posted 31 assists and three aces while freshman Morgan Hains (Canyon del Oro HS) had 12 digs and two aces.
The Aztecs have two matches remaining in the regular season. They return to the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Wednesday for their final regular season home match as they take on Glendale Community College. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. The sophomores will be recognized after the match.
