[(Phoenix, AZ) The Indoor Football League has announced that the Arizona Rattlers won three major awards as a franchise for the 2021 season: Best Media Relations, Best Game Operations and Best Fanbase Award. This now completes five league awards to the organization for the year.
With nearly hundreds of thousands of listeners and viewers with dynamic TV and radio partners, Rattlers fans can be found nationwide. The Arizona Rattlers brought home the Best Media Relations Award for the first time since joining the IFL. Fueled by the leadership of team president and head coach Kevin Guy and the front office of the Rattlers, the media relations team was able to consistently generate creative and well-made releases and social media content to capture the award.
The Game Operations team captured the award after hosting three exciting playoff games, including the United Bowl. The production included entertaining halftime shows, exciting interactive fan games and the beloved cannon shot that made the fans feel at home in the Snake Pit. Pyrotechnicians hid in the catwalk, bringing “the rockets’ red glare” to life and you cannot forget about the Sidewinders and Stryker. Fans enjoying their first-ever game or season-ticket holders of 30 years experienced the game of a lifetime each and every visit.
For the fourth season in a row, the Rattlers fanbase represented the franchise and earned the Best Fanbase award. Rattlers fans continued to support the team after the COVID-19 season, as they packed the Snake Pit on a weekly basis. There is no better example of home-field advantage. Fans are offered exclusive group experiences — creating the high-five tunnel, performing the pregame coin toss, and seats so close you are completing the incomplete pass and personally congratulating your favorite player with a pat on the back.
The Rattlers retained and welcomed nearly all of their existing season-ticket-holder fanbase, in addition to welcoming thousands of forever fans. We would like to thank the fans again for all of the support they give the team every season, and are very proud to be playing for the official Best Fanbase in the Indoor Football League.
