A note from the Arizona Bowl Vice President of Communications, Eric
I wanted to let you know of a wonderful feature charity story possibility tomorrow. The College Football Playoff is supporting the Extra Yard for Teachers program across the college football landscape, with tomorrow (September 14, 2021) being dubbed “The Big Day”. The Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl has taken in over 100 nominations across Southern Arizona and will be awarding our first three teacher recipients tomorrow. Each teacher will receive a certificate and a check for $1000. We have let the schools know in advance that media may be attending the presentation of the checks to the teachers. We will be awarding 17 more gifts of $1000 through December.
