(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (4-0) was unstoppable on offense on Tuesday against Chandler-Gilbert Community College (0-2).
The No. 2 ranked Aztecs scored 11 goals in the first half and went on to defeat the Coyotes 15-0.
Sophomores Manuel Quiroz (Sunnyside HS), Francisco Manzo (Salpointe Catholic HS) and freshmen Emerson Ram (Ironwood Ridge HS) and Cristian Gutierrez (Cholla HS) each scored two goals.
Sophomore Ulyssess Torres (Sunnyside HS) and Tarique Hall (Flowing Wells HS) each finished with three assists (Hall scored a goal) while freshman Jesus Virgen (Sunnyside HS) had two assists.
The Aztecs held the Coyotes to no shots on goal. Sophomore Juan Suarez (Desert View HS) and freshman Aurelio Bernal (Cholla HS) each played a half and had no saves.
The Aztecs will play at Scottsdale Community College on Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
