Littlewood and Fair earn All-American status at NJCAA National Championships

(Tucson, AZ)  The Pima Community College women’s track & field team completed the first two days of competition at the NJCAA Division I National Championships.

Sophomore Eliza Littlewood (Campo Verde HS) finished in seventh place in the Heptathlon with a total of 3419 points. She earned three points for the Aztecs and NJCAA Division I All-American Honorable Mention. She was the NJCAA Region I Champion in the Heptathlon.

Sophomore Raelynn Fair (South Mountain HS) earned NJCAA Division I All-American Honorable Mention with her eighth place finish (one team point) in the Long Jump. She set a season-best in her first attempt with a mark of 5.69 meters (18-feet, 8-inches). Fair was the NJCAA Region I Champion in the Long Jump. She is now a two-time NJCAA All-American in the Long Jump as she earned honorable mention status at the Indoor National Championships in 2019.

The Aztecs sit in 18th place with four team points.

The Aztecs close out the 2021 season on Thursday in the final day of competition at South Plains College in Levelland, TX.
