Aztecs women’s soccer drop final regular season game against Scottsdale CC

(Tucson, AZ)  The Pima Community College women’s soccer team (2-5-1) closed out the regular season on Thursday against Scottsdale Community College (5-2).

The Aztecs were shut out 3-0 by the Artichokes as Pima has struggled scoring one goal in their last four games. They have gone 0-3-1 during that stretch.

The Artichokes scored all three of their goals in the first half (5th, 26th and 32nd minutes).

The Aztecs finished with five shots on goal and sophomore goalkeeper Chloe Kunnemann (Empire HS) had four saves.

The No. 3 seeded Aztecs will play in the NJCAA Region I, Division II Tournament as they play at No. 2 seed Scottsdale Community College in the semifinal round on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
