(Phoenix, AZ) The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (6-1) dropped its first match of the 2020-21 season on Saturday at Phoenix College (5-1).
The No. 1 ranked Aztecs gave up a first half goal but couldn’t find the back of the net as they fell 1-0 at No. 5 ranked Phoenix College. Luis Gandara scored in the 39th minute for the Bears.
The Aztecs finished with eight shots on goal and sophomore goalkeeper Juan Suarez (Desert View HS) finished with 11 saves.
The Aztecs are off until next Saturday when they host Scottsdale Community College at the West Campus Aztec Soccer Field part of the Chapman Auto Sports Complex. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
