Aztecs men’s golf close out play at Southern Arizona Invitational

(Tucson, AZ)  The Pima Community College men’s golf team hosted the Southern Arizona Pima Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Randolph North Golf Course.

Freshman Andrew Rivas (Canyon del Oro HS) had the best collective score for the Aztecs. He shot a 2-over par 74 on Monday and a 4-over par 76 in the final round. He tied for 11th place in the individual standings with a 150.

Sophomore Connor Wierman (Ironwood Ridge HS) shot a 4-over par 76 in Monday’s round and finished with a 155 (76-79) as he tied for 23rd.

Sophomore Jackson Williams (Ironwood Ridge HS) shot a season-best 86 in Tuesday’s round as he finished with a 186 (100-86).

The Aztecs will play in the South Mountain Invitational on April 12-13 at the Legacy Golf Course in Phoenix.
