(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College women’s golf team competed in its third ACCAC tournament as it hosted the Southern Arizona Pima Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Randolph North Golf Course.
Freshman Victoria Peña (Tucson Magnet HS) earned her third straight top 10 finish in the individual standings but fell short of medalist honors as she place eighth with a two day score of 190 (96-94). The top six golfers receive medalist honors and Peña was two-strokes behind for sixth.
The Aztecs play in the Estrella Mountain Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Coldwater Golf Course in Avondale, AZ.
