Udall earns ACCAC Pitcher of the Week honor after complete-game

(Tucson, AZ)  Pima Community College baseball pitcher Hayden Udall (Campo Verde HS) pitched a gem in his start last Saturday against Chandler-Gilbert Community College and was recognized by the conference.

Udall, a sophomore right-handed pitcher, was named ACCAC Division I Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday for the week of Apr. 1-7. He is the sixth Pima baseball player to receive a conference player or pitcher of the week award this season.

helped the Aztecs gain a 6-1 victory after he pitched a complete-game (nine-inning game) giving up one run (one earned) on seven hits with seven strikeouts and no walks.

He is now 7-3 with a 2.61 ERA in 79.1 innings pitched this season. He is second on the team with 60 strikeouts. Udall has 12 starts with six complete-games.

The Aztecs are on the road today for an ACCAC Division I doubleheader Central Arizona College.
