(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College women’s soccer season came to an end on Monday in the NJCAA Region I, Division I quarterfinal match.
The No. 5 seeded Aztecs fell to No. 4 Scottsdale Community College 1-0.
Scottsdale’s Tayler Brown broke the scoreless tie with a goal in the 84th minute with an assist from Addison Cress.
The Aztecs had a chance to get on the board early in the second half when sophomore Paola Ruedaflores (Nogales HS) had a chance again the Artichokes’ goalkeeper but her shot was just off the mark.
The Aztecs finished with four shots on goal and freshman goalkeeper Haven Chambers (Walden Grove HS) had five saves.
The Aztecs close out the season with a 10-8-3 overall record. It was the program’s eighth straight season with 10 or more win.
